it was so bad I just shook my head. NASCAR wonder why tv ratings have slipped. Lets have more racing time that commercial time.

The increased amount of commercials have certainly caused me to watch less. I flipped over today just after the race had ended. They would interview a driver or two, then go to commercial. Come back, do another interview, show the talking heads, then another commercial.

TNT/NBC has been the worst. Hopefully ESPN won't be as bad.

Hell, I'm surprised they aren't showing the race on 1/3 of the screen and commercials all the time in the other 2/3's of the screen.

in all honesty, the IRL on ESPN does it right. They keep continuous race coverage on the screen while commercials play on a larger portion of the screen.

I slept through most of yesterdays race. Pathetic coverage.

I recorded the race yesterday because I wasn't home.. I started watching it late last night and i fast forwarded through the commercials.. Doing that I watched the whole race in about 2 hours.. That tells you how many commercials TNT shows.. I would say nearly half of the coverage is commercials.. it is ridiculous.

I turned it on with the intentions of sleeping through it, nothing to keep me interested and awake anymore.
